Bill Dureen Keyboards/Vocals

When the Words disbanded in 1967, Bill got married and raised two children,
Derek and Stacey. He entered the corporate world, working in the audio visual field.
Bill never stopped writing and playing music though. One of his songs was bought by an
Australian TV show. "I Wish I was a Plane" became its theme song.

Sitting at the organ and working on songs is still a daily occurance. Finding the perfect
cord has always been and continues to be Bill's forté and passion. Bill also plays guitar
and is a talented artist.

"Billy" now lives in Brampton, Ontario with bandmate Ron and works for
Reader's Digest. He has two grandchildren.
